
The Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund Nurlan Zhakupov held a meeting with the Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CPIT) Ren Hongbin.
Samruk-Kazyna, together with CPIT, carries out the organizational work of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council. The Co-chairmen of the KCBC are the Head of the Fund, Nurlan Zhakupov, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CITIC Group, Xi Guohua.
The Kazakh-Chinese Business Council is a dialogue platform for the business circles of Kazakhstan and China and is designed to enhance trade, economic and investment cooperation.
Last year, as part of the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Kazakhstan, Astana hosted the 7th meeting of the KCBC, during which 45 documents for $3.7 billion were signed.
The next meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council will be held in China. At the meeting, the parties discussed the organization of this event at a high level.
The delegation from China included such large companies as CITIC, PetroChina International Co.,Ltd, Sinopec Group, YTO Express, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Tai’an Jiuzhou Jincheng Machinery Co.Ltd and others.
